Pengaruh Disiplin Belajar Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa Tingkat SMP

The issue of low academic achievement among Junior High School students persists as a significant barrier to successful instructional processes. This obstacle often stems from deficient learning discipline, evidenced by inconsistent study habits, failure to submit assignments on time, and a lack of adherence to classroom regulations. Such conditions lead to diminished focus, consistency, and accountability, ultimately preventing students from reaching optimal academic results. This study aims to examine the correlation between learning discipline and the academic performance of Junior High School students. A qualitative method was employed through a literature review approach, involving the curation and in-depth analysis of scientific articles, journals, and credible academic sources. The data underwent descriptive analysis to explore the relationship between learning discipline as the independent variable and academic achievement as the dependent variable. The findings indicate that learning discipline exerts a positive and substantial influence on student performance across various subjects. Students possessing high levels of discipline demonstrate an aptitude for effective time management and consistency in completing academic tasks, which leads to improved grades. Consequently, learning discipline serves as a fundamental factor for educators and institutions to prioritize in the pursuit of more effective and meaningful learning environments.
