Kegiatan sosialisasi “Generasi Sadar Hukum dan Berintergritas” Himpunan Mahasiswa Hukum Universitas Surakarta

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance students' legal awareness and integrity through a legal outreach program entitled Building a Legally Aware and Ethical Generation for members of the Law Students Association at Universitas Surakarta. The program was motivated by the tendency of legal compliance to be driven by fear of sanctions rather than an understanding of justice. The methods included interactive lectures, case discussions, and participant reflection using the Natural Law approach. The materials covered legal awareness, the principle of lex iniusta non est lex, Fuller's internal morality of law, and legal legitimacy. The results indicated improved participants' understanding of legal awareness based on moral integrity, critical thinking toward public policies, and respect for justice and human rights. The program is expected to strengthen the character of future legal professionals with integrity and sustainable legal awareness.
